    Proudly presented today is this wonderful Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Poli Mana, the Butterfly Kachina. This great example, standing 5 and a half  inches tall, was carved by the young and awesomely talented Philander Shelton, grandson of the late Henry Shelton. It is painted in light, vibrant  colors which seems almost like cloisonné.
